Credit Card Checkout: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Add to cart (or Buy Now)

  • Choose the variant (e.g., color/size/model) and quantity.
  • Click Add to cart to review the cart first, or Buy it now to jump straight to checkout.

 

Step 2: Review your cart

  • If you added to cart, open the Cart (drawer or cart page).
  • Confirm items, variants, quantity, and subtotal.
  • If needed, remove items or update quantities.
  • Click Checkout.


Step 3: Shipping address

  • If you have used Shop Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, etc. in the past, you can use Express Checkout. Since they all keep your delivery information, you can omit it. Otherwise, please fill in the delivery information.
  • Enter First/Last Name
  • Address, Apartment/Suite (if applicable)
  • City, State/Province/Region
  • Postal/ZIP Code
  • Country/Region
  • Phone (sometimes required for delivery)


Step 4: Payment method: Credit Card

Select Credit card (Visa/Mastercard/AmEx/Discover, etc.).

Enter:

  • Card number

  • Name on card

  • Expiration date (MM/YY)

  • Security code (CVV/CVC)

Please rest assured that this checkout page is powered by Shopify Secure Payments, protecting your privacy at all times. We do not store or have access to your card details.
If you prefer, you may also choose alternative secure methods such as Paypal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Billing address:

  • If it matches shipping, keep “Same as shipping address”.

  • If different, select Use a different billing address and enter it exactly as on your card statement (helps pass bank checks).



Step 5: Order summary & discount code (optional) & Place your order

  • Choose a shipping option (If available).
  • On the bottom (or top on mobile), expand Order summary.
  • If you have a code, paste it in Discount code and click Apply.
  • Confirm the subtotal + shipping + taxes total updates correctly.
  • Click Pay now / Complete order.

  • Wait a moment—don’t refresh or click back while the payment processes.


 

  • Strong Customer Authentication (may appear)

    • Your bank may ask for 3-D Secure verification (one-time passcode, app approval, or biometric).

    • Complete the verification to continue.

  • Order confirmation

    • You’ll land on the Thank you / Order confirmation page with:

      • Order number

      • Summary of items

      • Shipping method

      • Billing details

      • Estimated delivery

    • An order confirmation email (and/or SMS) is sent to the contact info you provided.


Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Card declined? If your payment is declined, please make sure the card number, expiry date, CVV, and billing address are correct, ensure that you have sufficient funds available, and confirm that your bank has authorized the payment. Sometimes banks may reject online or international transactions by default. If the problem continues, please try another card or contact your bank directly.

  • Discount not applying? Check code spelling, expiry date, and eligibility (minimum spend, product exclusions). Only one code is usually allowed per order. If you forget to enter your discount code during checkout, please contact our customer service team and we can help apply it for you.

  • Currency: Stores may display currency based on your location; your card is charged in the store’s checkout currency. Your bank may apply conversion fees if different.

  • Receipts & tracking: Keep the order number. You’ll receive shipping tracking once the order is fulfilled.
